Michael is from Los Angeles California. She is most notably known for self portraits and telling stories her photography. Currently, she is working on a photography project called "365 Days of Self Portraits." She shoots strictly self portraits, but has done wedding photography too.

All of her photos are very creative and includes surrealism. Surrealism is a style in art in which images are combined in a strange way, like a dream. I believe this is the reason I am inspired by her work because I love weird, creepy and creative artwork. Her photos do take a lot of editing in Photoshop to give this effect.
